Veterans in Film and Television ("VFT") is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which originates initiatives to promote veterans’ careers in the entertainment arts. VFT’s mission is to empower veterans while reducing problems for this underrepresented community.
Since its inception in 2012, VFT has grown to over 2,500 members and launched a New York chapter in 2013. With this model for continued expansion generating momentum and enthusiasm, VFT has established the gold standard for connecting veterans with show business. Leaders from every segment of the industry have aligned with VFT to accelerate and expand the organization’s growth.
As the organization’s support and membership strengthened, the organizational structure was developed to leverage its strongest components while remaining nimble and adaptive to change. VFT’s two preeminent structural models are programs and customer/market alignment.
VFT has seen enormous growth and its popularity has increased dramatically. Consequently, we’ve implemented systems, forged relationships, and continually develop funding sources to sustain our progress.
